Swim against the current so you dont end up as just another drowning in the sea of resumes.Start you job search not on a traditional job board, but on Google. Enter the job title youre interested in. If its more than 1 word, place the title inside of quotation marks. After that, write jobs and hit return.For exam ple, pharmaceutical sales jobsUsually on the 1st page of Google results is a big blue bar reflecting what you typed in. Click that and youre in the Google for Jobs feature. Google already knows your location, so the results page will feature pharmaceutical sales jobs in your area.The far left column will list all the employers who are hiring. Make note of the 10 companies that fruchtwein strongly interest you.Use Your Social Media for Good (Not Just for Wasting Time)Bring your company research into 2019 by getting off the company history and about us pages, and instead looking up their pages on LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram.
